It wouldn’t be the Top End without a bit of barramundi fishing.

While a keen fisherman myself, in 1987 I covered the annual Barra Classic, on its return to Corroboree Billabong.

The Classic lasts the best part of a week, and accommodation is minimal. As a result we decided to hire a houseboat for the duration. This gave us accommodation, as well as a shooting platform for the camera operator during the day.
