Dragged out of bed this morning by the sound of a couple of butcher birds playing on the balcony. Since they were looking at the ceiling I wondered if there were a few spiders they had their eye on.

Now that's something you don't often see at the markets. Monstera deliciosa or as we called it as kids, fruit salad plant. The segments basically flake off at a touch when they are ripe so the fruit tends not to travel well.

Out on the Bicentennial Bikeway on a very drizzly morning. Some parts had obviously gone under in the high tide overnight so the combination of showers and river mud made parts a bit slippery.
